Clinic Locations

  • Drop off time is between 8-830am., and pick up time is usually between 5-530p.m. (they will let you know exactly when it is when you drop off).

  • There is a $4/pet additional drive time fee for this location. For all of our pricing information please go here. 

  • Make sure to bring your pet on a leash or cats must be in a secure box or carrier.

  • Take away food after midnight before surgery - if your pet is a kitten or puppy (under 4 months) please do not take away their food.

    Directions

    From Austin take Hwy 290 East through Elgin. At a stop light in Elgin you will turn right onto Hwy 95 towards Bastrop. From 95 you will go several miles until you pass a military training facility, just past that is farm rd 2336 to McDade you can only turn left, about a 1/2 mile off 2336 your first right will be Coolwater, turn right and the shelter will be on the left hand side. If you are still confused try using www.mapquest.com or if all else fails you can call the Bastrop County Animal Control at 512-581-4080

    Directions

    Take I-35 South to 290 West.  Take 290 West all the way to Dripping Springs.  
    Look for the Tractor Supply Company directly on the side of 290. 
    Optional direction: Take 183 S. to 71 West.  This turns into 290 West.

    We are located at 110 W L Walden. If coming from South I H 35, exit at Hwy 29 (Southwestern Univ exit), and turn right (east). Go approximately 1-1/2 miles to College St., and turn left (north). Take College approximately 1-1/2 miles to W.L. Walden, turn right. If you are coming from North I H 35, exit at Williams Drive. Turn left on Williams, and go to Austin Avenue, turn left. Take Austin Ave. to Stadium Drive (1st street on right, at the football stadium), turn right. Take Stadium to Morrow St. (1st stop sign) turn left. Morrow Street winds through San Gabriel Park. Turn right at the low water crossing bridge (follow blue animal shelter signs). After you cross the bridge turn right, you will be on College St. Take College St. one block to W.L. Walden, turn left

    • From north or south, take I-35 to Kyle and take exit #213
    • Go east on FM 150 (P.A.W.S. is east of I-35)
    • Continue approximately 1/3 mile east of I-35 and turn right into the P.A.W.S. parking lot. (It’s the first right hand turn on FM 150 East). Look for the white cargo van with Emancipet’s logo on it.

    Take 183 South from Austin to Lockhart. Travel through town and turn LEFT on Blackjack (Hwy 20 East), go 1 mile and turn RIGHT on Old McMahan Road, we are located 1/2 mile down on the right.

    Directions

    Take 183 N. into Cedar Park. AT the intersection of 1431 & 183 turn left onto 1431 and stay on this highway until you pass Jonestown and head into Lago Vista. Once in Lago you will come to a stop light called Lohman’s Ford Crossing. Keep going straight but look for the shelter on your left just a little past Sonic (Sonic is on the right). If the road narrows you have gone too far.

    Take 35 South to exit 205 toward Luling/Wimberley.  Turn right onto Long Street, which immediately takes you right onto RR 12/E Hopkins.  Follow this across the San Marcos River and turn right into the Grant Harris Building parking lot.   Park against the curb directly across from the front doors of the building.
