Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Elsa joined Emancipet as a veterinary technician in 2010. She recently completed the Veterinary Assistant program through Austin Community College and completed the Emancipet Leadership Development Program in 2011. As East Austin Clinic Manager, Elsa will provide direct support to the spay/neuter technician team at our Levander Loop location.
Lauren became involved in animal rescue in San Francisco before joining Austin's animal welfare community. As the Practice Manager at our East Austin clinic, she supports the Preventive Veterinary Care and Customer Service teams.
Dr. Kelly Breazeale
Dr. Kelly Breazeale grew up in Austin. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree in animal science from Texas Tech University. Dr. Breazeale completed her veterinary degree in Scotland at the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
Dr. Cary Givens
Dr. Cary Givens grew up in Southeast Texas. Dr. Givens worked in small animal practice in Austin for the 10 years prior to attending Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2012.
Dr. Katie Hilla
Dr.Katie Hilla received a double Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology and Animal & Veterinary Science from the University of Wyoming. In 2007, Dr. Hilla completed her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Michael Kalmbach
Dr. Michael Kalmbach is a Texas native who grew up on a farm and ranch near Austin. Dr. Kalmbach attended Texas A&M University for both his undergraduate and veterinary education, graduating in 2003 from the College of Veterinary Medicine.
