As Emancipet continues to add new clinics and programs to make spay/neuter and preventive veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners, financial sustainability and strategic vision are more important than ever before. To ensure the success of our growth plans in Austin and beyond, Emancipet has formed the Humane Future Council, a group of donors who have made an exceptional commitment to help fund and guide our scaling efforts. This exclusive Council provides the opportunity for Emancipet’s closest partners to give strategic input and critical resources, and to connect with others who share a passion for ensuring a more humane future for animals and people in need.
Individuals who are invited to join the Humane Future Council this year will be considered Founding Members, and will receive permanent recognition as Founders in the Emancipet headquarters office in Austin, and on our new home on the web: emancipet.org. Because Council Members renew their pledges annually, collectively the Humane Future Council will provide Emancipet with a sustained and growing base of funding from which to launch our exciting plans for expansion across Texas in the next several years. Furthering the excitement, an extremely generous anonymous donor has offered to match eligible gifts dollar for dollar up to the first $50,000.
Humane Future Council members share our vision of a future where every pet owner has access to safe, affordable care for their beloved pets, regardless of where they live or how much they make,” said Emancipet CEO Amy Mills. “I couldn’t be more excited to be assembling a group of trusted friends and advisors to join us on the next leg of the journey!”
