Get your glow on and bring the whole family — including the dog – out to for Emancipet’s 3rd Annual Howl at the Moon Fest!

Fest-goers can enjoy live music, visit vendor booths, and grab a snack or dinner from a local food truck at this family-friendly event.

People and their pets are encouraged to glam it up for the Glow Glam Contest that will start as the sun begins to set.

Then, the Glow Walk will kick off with a group howl at the moon and then everyone can take a lap or two or three or more along walking path around the park’s Pavilion.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome (limit 2 dogs per participant). All dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag and be on a 2- to 4-foot standard leash (no retractable leashes, please).

Proceeds from the Howl at the Moon Fest will benefit Emancipet’s Killeen clinic, which provides low-cost veterinary care for pets in the four-county area. Since opening in downtown Killeen in 2014, Emancipet has performed more than 15,500 spay/neuter surgeries, and completed more than than 27,500 Healthy Pet Services visits.
